BUILD 1 RELEASED
That’s right, baby. After lots of sweat, blood, tears, and other things you don’t want to get on your keyboard, today we have finally finished Build 1. Weighing in at around 13.0 megs, we’re proud of it. Even though it’s just a battle system. A highly moddable one, that is. My kudos to whoever releases the first zombie-killin’ mod on the forums.
Speaking of the forums, we did a bunch of moving around now that people will actually be going there. Please, register and make mods for everyone to enjoy. You may even get featured in the devlog, or get your mod made into official content, or something. ;)
Here she is – enjoy. (click ye link below)

Well the game itself is interesting. But graphics do lack a little, the AI of mele units was okay but crossbowmen AI was really buggy they started glitching.
(like twitching in the same spot “moving”). You might wanna include that you can shoot your own men by accident when shooting arrows…..<.<"

We’re fully aware of the small jumpy move glitches, and they’re going to be fixed for the second build.
The graphics do need amping – much of them is just temporary now.
The AI is being revamped for the second build as well – instead of thinking individually they’ll be using formations and try to outsmart you better. ;)
The AI only tries to make a shot if there is room. If he hits his own guy, it was by chance and his risk. ;) If the way is totally blocked, they won’t shoot, though. :D
Thanks for playing!
PS: Did you win?

Cool. Apparently I suck at it – I thought the mission was hard, but the few people that I did playtest with thought it was a cakewalk. D:
And yeah, I’ll try and amp the GFX for next build. I like the dust clouds if they stay spread out, but when they clump it looks ugly.
If they really really bother you, you can just turn them off, too. :P

Well done! That was a lot of fun, and it isn’t even my favorite genre of game! There was some movement glitches, but it seems you are aware of that. I was completely wrecked when I played it, so that can be a bit of a condolence to you ;)
Great work!
